Greetings from Ireland!

I am over the moon with Lovina's book "The Amish Cook At Home" it is a wonderful book, I can't praise it enough.  Yesterday I made the pie dough using the recipe from the book and it turned out perfect.   I have been looking for a good pastry recipe for a long time now and I am grateful to have found Lovina's.   I bake just about every day because I really enjoy it.  Another family favorite in our house is Buttermilk Brownies from Lovina's Mother's book.  I love reading the weekly colum as I find the Amish way of life a breath of fresh air and so inspiring long may it continue
