Major Snowstorm Next Week?

Well, I for one hate in when the local meteorologists hype up a dusting of snow or something mundane like that. But for those of you in the Midwest there is something to clearly keep an eye on next week. Click here for the latest musings from one of my favorite Accu-weather meteorologists, you have to read about halfway through his entry, but, wow, could be a big snowstorm?

You can all have any snow that would be scheduled for our area - I don't want it personally! My perfect snow would be Christmas morning after the kids are home & melt by Christmas night, then no more until Dec. 25th of the next year.

Well it is Saturday evening and the snow has started, I live in northern Indiana just down wind of Lake Michigan so we get system snow and lake effect. I stuck a ruler in the snow while I was out feeding the horses and it measured 4 1/2 inches and it is still coming. They are calling to snow all week but I wouldn't call this a snowstorm, just our everyday weather.

Blow it out this way!! We want snow! Every year since we've lived in this house, we have had snow fall in December on our Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus that sits on our front lawn -Then we have had a melting snowman sitting out there for the rest of the month. It's always jsut enough to cover the grass and make a nice snowman; the bummer thing about the Pac NW is that snow doesn't stay around for very long. We'll take your potential blizzard you can have our rain and fog!!
