I have known an Amish family for over 40 years and they make a bread dessert that they call "lolli pops". i have loved them since Anna the matriarch of the family made them for me over 40 years ago. Judy, her daughter and her husband John and their 2 youngest children, both who are adults spent 2 weeks with us this october and we were lucky enough to have Judy and her daughter make them for us at our house. I am wondering if anyone has ever had these wonderful treats
Re: lolli pops
the above recipe is what we always called monkey bread, but we baked it in a bundt pan, it is easier to pull apart........

i will be anxious to hear how you like them
Re: lolli pops
Well, I wish I could say that I enjoyed your recipe, but I took it out of the oven and it smelled great, and looked great too! So I left it to cool a little bit so my kids could have some. Well, they did not really wait! Those little twerps did not even save me one little piece. So I am assuming that it was good. But next time it will cool from somewhere locked or high up. Thanks again for the recipe.
Re: lolli pops

Hi ecurb:
I've never heard of them or had them, but they certainly sound intriguing. If you have the recipe, would you mind posting it? I'd love to see it (and try it!). ~ Janice
