Hi, ever since I saw the photo of Lovina's mum's hand crank dough maker, I had to have one! Any idea on where I can get one? I've checked ebay, amazon.com, Lehmann's.
Any help appreciated!!!!

Re: Looking for hand crank bread dough maker
Hi, just wanted to let everyone know that I found my hand crank dough maker. I used it last night. I made Lovina's bread receipt from The Amish Cook Baker's book. I doubled the receipt. It turned out OK. I just need to become more familure with how the dough looks when it has enough flour.
Thank you to those that sent e-bay links to find one.
blessings,
CarylAnne

Re: Looking for hand crank bread dough maker
Lehman's used to have them. Maybe you should call and talk to someone in housewares at their store,I've noticed that sometimes they still have items available that aren't online or in the catalog. Worth a shot, anyhow!!
Re: Looking for hand crank bread dough maker
in the spring and summer months i always go to our flea markets where i find an awful lot of things that i would never find otherwise. ceaser's creek is right up 71 north near wilmington, ohio. trader's world is near middletown off of rt. 63 and there is richwood flea market just south of florence, ky. we go to all of these on different week ends and have a real good time during our stays. spring is just around the corner and my friends are pooling our funds for our first trip.
